Honduras pictures ( quite late)

This little girl is 7 years old
I caught this girl taking 3 pairs of shoes. I confronted
her about it and she said she was giving them to her family.
I couldn't bear to take them away from her.
She was so cute. I asked her to show me her shoes
and instead she took them off and hid them from me.

All the people waiting for shoes

Workout

Anyone who is looking for a good workout program to do should consider this option. Krav Maga is a good self defense class and a great workout. It is a lot of work but it is worth it. Here is a website you can look at that supports the classes. Its a karate school but you don't need to be good at karate to do this. It is for ages 13 and up but I recomend you be a little older than that.
www.victoryma.com click on programs and go to Krav Maga. You will love it.

Back from Honduras

I am back and happy to be home. We had quite an interesting but very good trip. Of course, Miss " I have never gotten sick on a mission trip before," decided to get sick on this one. She got a touch of the stomach bug and a really bad case of goingtobenastytomylittlesisteritis. She was very mean to be after that which is very unlike her. Sera and I usually get along well and I have no idea what possessed her to act this way. Anyway, other than her, the trip went very well. I held 3 babies ( one was a year old, one was 4 months old, and I don't know how old the last one was but I am guessing 18 months), I worked at two medical clinics, and picked up quite an amount of spanish. Hopefully, next time I will know enough to be able to understand the sermon at church ( I know how asher felt when he first got home. The only difference was that I had a translator ( my dad) and he didn't) I will post more about it later cause right now I have to clean the quiet room so I will be on tomorow.

Aher's Birthday Party ( A little late) and Belt Promotion

I have been meaning to post pictures of Asher's Birthday party but I forgot to download them. Asher had a karate birthday party which he loved. He had about 10 friends there and he had a blast. Our karate teacher, Mr. Ravedutti ( We call him fruit man) ran the party for him. We didn't have to do a thing. The karate school does it all. The other pictures are of the boy's recent belt promotion. Kayla and I were going to promote but due to issues at home, we didn't. We caught it form our teacher. One thing about karate is they inforce respect, disepline, honesty, and other important morals. My mom likes that a lot. Asher moved up to yeallow belt and Ia is blue recomended ( Once you hit blue, you go to something called the decided belts. It goes blue, blue decided, brown, brown decided, red, red decided, and the belt everyone knows. Black. Ian is on his way to becoming a black belt. Enjoy the photos

What we have been up to.

I haven't posted in so long. School has been so demanding and between school, work, and karate, I have had no time. I ma on break so I am enjoying it while I can. I am extremly excited because in one week, I will set out on my first mission trip. It is not in the United States. I am going to Honduras!!! I can not wait. I am going with Sera and my dad and we leave the 27th of December. Of course, that means I need shots. That was easily taken care of. My dad ordered the shots and my mom gave them to me. The joy of having a nurse for a mom. I did not enjoy taking them but I would rather take them than get sick. Now I have two sore arms and relief that it is out of the way. I also have picked up some type of throat/flue bug and have had that since Saturday. That was not fun because we were attending our annual karate gala which is supposed to be fun. I thought that my one karate teacher had made me sick because she had the same bug a week before but I found out that I made her sick. Whoops : ) Hope she feels better ad has no hard feelings. She is a third degree black belt and could knock me out cold if she wanted to. Anyway, all the nessesary prep work for our mission trip is almost done. All we have to do is pack. I may not post till we get back depending on how much time I have so if I can't then this is bye. I will update on evrything else soon.

Black Cats come out on Halloween

Well its a funny story about this post. I was out all day Saturday. By all day I mean 10 am till 11 pm. I went to my siblings Karate Belt Promotion and straight from therr, I had work from 12pm to 6:30pm. After work, I went to see my friend, Lauren in her acrobatics performance. When I got home I was so tired. I went into the kitchen to eat dinner ( I had a late unch so I wasn't hungry till 11) and go to bed. Well I was pulling some Pizza from the fridge when Kayla walked in. She told me to follow her to the apartment. She kept telling me it was a secret. I was curious but also ready for her to say " Just Kidding." We got to the top of the stairs and I heard her sya " Come here Ollie." As soon as she said that, a small, black cat walked towards her. I was shocked. My parents hate cats so they must not know. Well the story was that Sera found the cat on Friday on her friends porch. Mom told her to bring it i the car. Sera told mom that she would get her on Saturday. On Saturday morning, she had said she had to run errands but I no one knew that meant bringing a cat home. My dad was angry that she brought it homeand told her we couldn't keep it. Well Sera had already bought stuff for a cat. My dad wouldn't look at the cat till we found him a home. I am looking at him as I type. He is very affectionate and will rub your hand until you pet him. We were able to find him a good home. My dad finally looked at him and admits that her is cute. The best part is my friend Steph is breeding her cat with Ollie and mom said we could have a kitten if they have a good temperment. Well Stephs cat, Storm is very sweet and so is Ollie so the kittens will be so sweet. Storm is a tuxedo cat but Ollie is all black with Orange eyes. He is purring and plaing with my phone right now. I will miss him but he will have a great home.
Pictures coming soon.
